Its peoples cover the spectrum of colour, culture and creed, with tribal groups spilling over man-made boundaries, just like the wildlife.

And speaking of wildlife, there is nothing to compare with the African experience when it comes to animals and birds.

Only in Africa will you see the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) as well as enormous numbers of plains game (including eland, zebra, kudu, wildebeest, oryz, nyala, sable, roan, antelope, giraffe and waterbuck); together with cheetah, hyena and hippopotamus - to name a few.

And the bird life is absolutely fantastic, with Kenya’s wonderful lakes acting as host to thousands of flamingo and with a myriad other species scattered across the continent.
