About the Managing Director
Brian Spitteler
A member of the travel industry since 1967, Brian has held management positions in airlines and wholesale travel companies in Western Australia.
In 1978, he established New Horizons Pty Ltd and remained its Managing Director until December of 1997. During his time at the helm, New Horizons became Western Australia's major travel wholesaler, enjoying an unparalleled record of profitability.
After a period of contemplation, Brian returned to the fray and has overseen the development and growth of Fiesta Holidays. As Managing Director, he controls foreign currency purchases; and is involved in product development and strategic planning.
In addition to Fiesta Holidays, Mr Spitteler is Managing Director of Integrated Tourism, Art Integrated, Bushland Cottages, and several other family-controlled companies.
About the General Manager
Steve Douglas
With more than 20 years travel industry experience, Steve is one of Australia's most widely experienced travel wholesalers.
He commenced his wholesaling career in 1981 with Viva Holidays, undertaking a variety of roles over a period of years. He then joined New Horizons, progressing to Product Manager...a role he fulfilled until 1998. A change in direction had Steve take up the position of Director of Sales and Marketing (Australia & New Zealand) for Sun Cruises, then (in February 2000) he joined Fiesta Holidays as Wholesale Manager.
With his cruising experience, Mr Douglas saw an opportunity for Fiesta Holidays to participate in Fly-Cruise holidays; and since his commencement, the company has become heavily involved in this activity.
Fiesta Holidays' web-site has been created with Steve's input and he has also assumed the responsibility of distributing the company's sales material via E-mail. As a result of his creativity and the company's association with Art Integrated, Fiesta Holidays' promotional material is regarded as being the best around.
In August of 2002, Mr Douglas was appointed General Manager for Fiesta Holidays.
